Building Relationships (2010) is the result of a cooperative effort with Bruce McColl that was shaped and reshaped over several years. It explores complementary and contrasting relationships between his paintings and my poems in respect to subjects, objects, images, compositions, textures, styles, techniques. It served as the catalogue for our 2012 exhibition in the Mandeville Gallery at Union College-- “Connections: Exploring Ties Between Poet Jim McCord and Painter Bruce McColl.”
